Playing Politcs on the House of Common's floor

The current move by the Federal Government leaves much to be desired.

To sell off assets is a ridicules idea. Did no one in the Caucus play Monopoly as a child? Or maybe they forgot to take a leaf out of Trump's book. The more you own the more money you make as a land owner. Even worse despite Harper's constant talk about being in a better economic situation then the US it is His government that is talking about selling assets off! Not even Bush would be stupid enough to suggest selling something like the Lincoln Memorial off.

After only 6 weeks in office he has upset all 3 opposition parties enough that they would consider joining a coalition to bring him down. Anyone stupid enough to allow petty party politics to cloud their judgment; at a time when crystal clear vision for Canada is needed should not be steering the ship.

Canadians are looking for strong leadership that will enable them to weather the storm. If Harper proves to be an inept Captain he should graciously step aside and let another do the job.

Last October he was given a strong message form the people of Canada. Harper got to keep the title as PM, but with conditions. If he really messed it up he could be removed. Now 6 weeks latter he's messed up enough that he just might be.

I shake my head and wonder: What were the Conservatives thinking when they sat down to draft this report.

What ever the outcome history will concluded that; playing politics on the Common's floor, was a bad move.
